Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SchoolKaterynaDoletska (hereinafter referred to as the "Project", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and otherwise processes the personal data of students and other users (hereinafter referred to as "Students", "you") in connection with the use of the Project, its courses, educational programs, and related services.

The Project may be a school, educational organization, online school, company, expert, course author, or another project that provides educational and/or informational services.

The Project is the Data Controller with respect to personal data processed for the purposes of the Project's activities.

To provide certain features, the Project uses the KWIGA platform provided by TUTERIA VCC. With respect to personal data processed through KWIGA on behalf of the Project, KWIGA acts as a Data Processor. The processing of such data is governed by the agreement between the Project and KWIGA and applicable data protection laws.

In some cases, KWIGA may independently process certain personal data as a separate Data Controller, for example, to ensure the security and stable operation of the Platform, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Such processing is governed by https://kwiga.com/privacy-policy

Chats and messages

When using private and group chats, the Project may process messages sent and received by the Student to enable communication and provide services.

Students can edit and delete their messages in accordance with the Platform's available functionality. When a chat is deleted, the initiator's messages are deleted immediately, while the other participant retains access to their messages. If the chat has not been deleted by the other participant earlier, the remaining chat data is automatically and permanently deleted from the Platform after 30 days.

Data retention and deletion

The Project retains personal data no longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

The retention period for personal data is determined based on the purpose and nature of processing, the duration of training or service provision, legal requirements, and the need to protect the Project's rights and legitimate interests. Special retention and deletion periods may apply to certain Platform functions.

Deleting or discontinuing use of an account does not necessarily mean that all data will be deleted immediately if certain data must be retained by law or to protect the Project's rights and legitimate interests.

The relevant DPA terms and deletion mechanisms available on the Platform also apply to Service Data processed by the Project through the KWIGA platform.
